Bednarcik brings a wealth of experience in strategically building companies from early-stage to large multi-billion dollar market leaders.
Most recently, Bednarcik led Wright Line, a Worcester, Mass.- based company previously owned by Oaktree Capital Management and GSC, before completing a sale to Eaton Corporation in August 2010. Prior to leading Wright Line, Bednarcik was an early employee of A123 Systems, a leading supplier of high-power lithium-ion batteries, where he served as vice president and general manager. A123 was the largest IPO on the NASDAQ in 2009 and its early investors included Qualcomm, Motorola, Sequoia Capital and North Bridge Venture Partners. Bednarcik has also held key executive roles at American Power Conversion (APC) including corporate officer, vice president of global sales, and vice president and general manager of the Business Network Solutions Group – the company’s largest division with more than $1B in sales. As sales leader at APC, Bednarcik was responsible for more than $2B in annual revenue prior to its acquisition by Schneider Electric.
A published author and well-respected thought leader and architect in the field of computer vision and machine learning, Mahesh Saptharishi oversees core technology architecture and development efforts for VideoIQ.
Previously, Saptharishi served as vice president of research and development and CTO for Broad Reach Security, LLC, where he led the development of multiple generations of the GE VideoIQ product line. In 2000, Saptharishi co-founded Broad Reach Security to create automated video surveillance systems that seamlessly integrate with existing commercial and government CCTV infrastructures. Two years later, Broad Reach Security joined forces with GE to develop VideoIQ - a state-of-the-art automated video surveillance system. Saptharishi spearheaded the implementation of VIQ-4HD, which won the New Product Showcase Product Achievement Award - CCTV at ISC West in 2003 and the VIQ-8HD, which won the SecuTech Award 2004.
Saptharishi holds his doctorate in philosophy from Carnegie Mellon University. He also graduated with an M.S. and B.S in electrical and computer engineering from Carnegie Mellon with both University and College honors.
An accomplished designer of computer software, Sergio Parise, joined VideoIQ from the Digital Video Systems division of Motorola, where he served as director of engineering. Prior to Motorola, Parise held the position of vice president of engineering for Ucentric Systems, the leading provider of software for the on-demand delivery of in-home digital entertainment services. In this capacity, Parise was responsible for the overall software and systems development process, successfully managing the release of three generations of software platforms that included multi-TV DVR, and whole-home music and photo applications. Previously, Sergio held key roles at Compaq developing the iPAQ platform, and at DEC, driving the portable computer engineering team.
As Chief Marketing & Sales Officer Holly Tsourides is responsible for driving end user, integrator, manufacturer representatives firm, and other key relationships, to increase new customer acquisition and expand VideoIQ’s global sales channels.
Tsourides comes to VideoIQ with 10 years sales and marketing experience in the physical security and surveillance industry. She has had great success in building and managing field sales in her role as National Sales Manager of the Video Systems group for GE Interlogix and in end-user vertical segments as Director of Vertical Marketing & Sales for GE Interlogix’s full suite of security products. She expanded the channel infrastructure and grew sales while Vice President of Sales at GE International Fiber Systems. Most recently she served for four years as President of a global electronics distribution business with The Stanley Works where she helped expand internationally and achieve record profitability.
Tsourides holds a BA in Political Science from Boston University.
