Customer Support Specialist
Job Summary
VideoIQ is seeking a Senior Customer Support Specialist to join our team. This person needs to be highly motivated, excellent with customers, comfortable with technology and very organized. This is an exciting opportunity to play an important role in a rapidly growing pre-IPO company.

Responsibilities:
Provide on-line customer support in the installation and configuration of our industry leading IP camera and video server solutions. This position requires answering support calls (during West coast business hours) and helping customers work through their installation, configuration and overall implementation questions. You will work closely with the product development team in learning the product and in problem escalation and resolution.
Qualifications:
Required:
Excellent knowledge of networking and configuration of routers and firewalls
Solid problem solving skills
Strong communication skills
Able to deal directly with customers in helping them solve their issues.
Must be authorized to work in USA
Bachelor or Associates degree in a technical field
3+ years experience with networking equipment – routers or switches
3 - 5 years prior experience in customer support for hardware/software company
Helpful Experience/Knowledge:
Experience with streaming video systems and mobile apps
Experience with IP cameras
Quality assurance background
Background working with trouble ticket generating software solutions
